Non-insured Health Benefits for First Nations & Inuit Individuals. Psychotherapy that works in partnership with the Government of Canada

Who is Eligible?

An eligible client must be a resident of Canada and any of the following:

  • a First Nations person who is registered under the Indian Act

  • an Inuk recognized by an Inuit land claim organization

  • an eligible client must have a status card number

  • recognition from your Inuit land claim organization

  • no referral is required

​For some clients, a self-government, or First Nations or Inuit health authority may be responsible for providing health benefits. An eligible client must use other available benefit plans (if any) prior to using this program.

What is Covered?

Every 12 months, an eligible client can receive up to 20 hours of counselling on a fee-for-service basis at Ashley Guité Psychotherapy this being, individual psychotherapy. Additional hours in the same 12 month period may be provided on a case-by-case basis determined by Express Scripts Canada & your therapist.
